We have seen a lot of Galaxy Z Fold 5 leaks in the past few months, including 3D renders that give us a pretty good idea about the design of Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, we now have probably the first official leaked images of Galaxy Z Fold 5. The initial impression suggests that it is one of those promotional images that is supposed to go live next month. So, it is safe to say that this is the first official look of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. It’s no surprise if we see more serious leaks in the upcoming days given we are just over a month away from the official launch of Samsung’s next-gen foldables.
This image shared by MySmartPrice suggests a similar design to what we have seen in early leaked renders. After carefully examining the image, we can tell that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature more refined edges, a sleek camera cutout, and a new hinge design that significantly reduces the gaps between panels. It is worth mentioning that the overall design looks thin as compared to the predecessor. Besides, you can see the S-pen, so it is safe to say that you can use it with the Z Fold 5. As you know Samsung doesn’t ship S-pen with the Fold series in the box, you’ll have to
purchase it separately. On top of that, the speaker grills, microphones, and other details look the same as we have seen in the Galaxy Z Fold 4 last year.

It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 rumored specs sheet suggests integration of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, a 7.6-inch QHD+ foldable inner display, and a 6.2-inch Full HD+ cover display with both supporting 120Hz. It is also said to pack a 4,400mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Unfortunately, we don’t expect a camera upgrade and it will remain the same as the Galaxy Fold 4.
Samsung has confirmed that the Unpacked event is scheduled for July 27 in Seoul, South Korea. And, the tech giant will certainly be launching the Galaxy Z Fold 5 as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the event. Talking of Z Flip 5, we can’t miss mentioning that a
similar promotional image has been leaked online, giving us a clear view of Samsung’s next flip phone’s design too.
