OnePlus 11 5G launched in China powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 &100W fast charging support

The much anticipated OnePlus new flagship is here. The company launched the phone in China on 3rd January 2023, one month ahead of its global release.

The design lines up with the rumored specifications we heard in December, with a massive, circular, black hole-inspired camera bump on the back with evident “Hasselblad” branding, offering two colors green and black. 

The OnePlus 11 5G comes integrated with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset that offers faster and more efficient CPU and GPU performance. The OnePlus flagship smartphone for 2023 is equipped with up to 16GB RAM and an advanced RAM management system that helps in better performance. This phone comes with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO 3.0. The display has a resolution of 1440×3216 with a punch-hole cutout for the 16MP selfie camera. The display also supports HDR10+.

OnePlus 5G comes with a 100W SUPERVOOC fast charger which is backed by a 5000 mAh dual-cell battery. There’s no mention of wireless charging in the official specifications. On the software side, OnePlus 11 will run on OxygenOS 13 based on Android 13.

OnePlus 11 5G sports a triple rear camera system, a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 32MP sensor for portrait shots. All 3 rear cameras are set within a OnePlus black hole camera bump which gives this phone a unique look. For connectivity, we get options like 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. 

Alongside OnePlus 11 5G, we also get to see OnePlus Buds Pro 2. There is no major difference in the design of the 2 generations however Buds Pro 2 has some interesting features like dual-driver design, spatial audio, and active noise cancellation with a battery life of up to 39 hours.

OnePlus 11 5G and Buds Pro 2 will be available to buy in China on January 9th, for global release it will be launched on February 7th. This phone starts at 3999 yuan, which is $581 for 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in the US while the high-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage can cost you around $710.

One Plus also confirmed that there will be no “Pro” model for OnePlus 11 5G.
