Xiaomi released its new lineup of phones in December 2021 in the Chinese market. It launched three devices: Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12 Pro, and Xiaomi 12X. The Chinese tech giant is now planning to launch it across the world. Xiaomi 12 Ultra Processor: Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
CEO Lei Jun has informed users via a Weibo post, that Xiaomi has partnered with Qualcomm to launch the Xiaomi 12 Ultra with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. Most gadget lovers will like it because of its high performance with low power consumption. It will have robust connectivity and ultra-low latency that will make the phone more powerful by increasing its network speed up to 10% with minimum delay.
This feature will allow gamers to play intensive games without any lag or frame drops. Moreover, this new chip will reduce power consumption as compared to the previous generation of SoCs, which means you will be able to use it for longer hours. All thanks to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1’s ISP, users will also be able to shoot 8K HDR videos in high audio quality.
Other leaked features
Along with the Snapdragon chipset, there is other information leaked about the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s camera. Xiaomi has partnered with Leica to make it a camera-centric phone. The 2022 Xiaomi flagship will have a 50MP primary shooter, 48MP periscope zoom lens, and a 48MP ultra-wide-angle camera. In addition, for a better front camera experience, it will have a 20MP selfie shooter.
The device will come with a Type-C port, dual stereo speaker setup, and an IR blaster (to control devices like TVs, ACs, & audio receivers). Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be available in 256GB and 512GB storage options.
When will Xiaomi 12 Ultra launch?
Sources have said it will be the first phone to be launched in China with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen chip. There is no official release date for Xiaomi 12 Ultra, but rumors from various sources speculate that it will be launched in early July. Many other companies like Motorola, Realme, OnePlus, Nubia, and iQOO are also planning to launch their devices in July.
