Roughly over a month ago, Samsung announced that it would host this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event around the last week of July in South Korea. The most anticipated event for foldable smartphones was rumored to take place on July 26th. Interestingly, the rumor has turned out to be pretty accurate. On 6th July, Samsung officially confirmed that this year’s Unpacked event will take place on 26th July. We expect Samsung to launch the next-gen foldables, tablets, smartwatches, and hopefully the new wireless earbuds. Now, let’s talk about all of these in detail.

What do we expect to see at Galaxy Unpacked in July 2023?
Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5
We haven’t heard anything from Samsung about the products it will unveil at the event. However, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is surely onboard as the press note and invitation video shared by Samsung says “Join the flip side.” But we are also expecting Galaxy Z Fold 5 to debut at the event. It is worth knowing that the South Korean tech giant is yet to showcase a teaser or trailer for Galaxy Z Fold 5. But, Samsung has promised to drop the Galaxy Z Fold 5 teaser and trailers in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series
Apart from Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5, we expect Samsung to drop the Galaxy Tab S9 series at the event. The new Tab S9 series will include the same Standard, Plus, and Ultra variants. All the variants are expected to look and feel the same, however, you will see some upgraded specs and features on the Plus and Ultra variants. It is worth mentioning that
we have already seen leaked renders of the Galaxy Tab S9+ about two months ago.
Galaxy Watch 6 & Watch 6 Classic
Samsung has kept the tradition of launching a new Galaxy Watch Series every year. Therefore, we expect Samsung to launch the new Galaxy Watch 6 on July 26. A month ago, leakster, Fabrizio Degni, took to his Twitter account to inform that the FCCID for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 has been spotted out at the US FCC entity as SM-R930 and SM-R940. In addition, we have also seen some of the renders shared by OnLeaks and MySmartPrice. You can check them below:

So, it is almost certain that the Galaxy Watch 6 series is also on its way to get launched at the July 26 Samsung Unpacked event. We are also expecting that the new smartwatches could come with WearOS 4.0. You can also expect to see a digital rotating bezel on the Galaxy Watch 6 and a physical rotating bezel on the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.
Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 or Galaxy Buds 3 Pro
We haven’t heard any rumors about the release of Samsung wireless earbuds. But, looking at the record of unveiling wireless earbuds in the previous Unpacked Events, we can’t rule out the possibility of the launch of Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. Since we haven’t heard anything from Samsung, we can only speculate. But, if it comes, you can see the inclusion of new drivers, new earbuds’ colors, better noise cancellations, and other features.

What is the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked start time?
The Galaxy Unpacked event will begin at 8:00 PM Korean Summer Time and will be live-streamed on Samsung’s YouTube channel and official website.
