OnePlus unveiled its latest OnePlus 9 Series at a virtual event on March 23, 2021. The company has introduced three models under this latest lineup, including OnePlus 9, 9 Pro, and the ultra-buzzed OnePlus 9R. It’s a budget-friendly flagship that’s introduced with an aim to touch more price points with the OnePlus 9 Series.

This smartphone focuses on three main departments- display, performance, and charging. It starts at Rs 39,999 and brings a host of impressive and powerful features for its users, including 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi 6. Here are a few important things that you must know about this latest budget flagship by OnePlus.

The OnePlus 9R features a smooth and vivid 6.55-inch 2.5D Fluid Display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a sleek 48MP quad rear camera array, and an impressive battery life. It sports a flat display with a punch-hole camera in the top-left corner.

The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 870 processor that brings 5G connectivity and an improved cooling system for a smoother and faster performance. It focuses on mobile gaming and offers features like immersive haptic feedback, dual stereo speakers, and Pro Gaming Mode. This makes the OnePlus 9R a great deal for casual as well as hardcore gamers.

Now, coming to the screen experience on the smartphone. The OnePlus 9R runs on OxygenOS 11 to deliver a smoother, smarter, and more intuitive smartphone experience. Price and Availability

The OnePlus 9R is priced at Rs 39,999 for 8GB RAM &128GB storage, and the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option will cost you Rs 43,999. The smartphone is launched in Carbon Black and Lake Blue options. For now, the OnePlus 9R is an India-exclusive device and will be available in the next 21 days from today. That means, we can see the smartphone hitting the markets around April 14, 2021.

For now, the company did not mention anything about the OnePlus 9R’s global availability.

It is good to see that when the company has priced the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro relatively higher, it has also come up with an affordable flagship, the OnePlus 9R. With a relatively attainable price tag and decent specifications, the OnePlus 9R sits between the OnePlus Nord and the latest OnePlus 9 Series.
