Apple iPhone 7- Hot off the Grill

Apple has a tendency to make its devices sizzling hot by introducing state-of-art technological advancements and tools that make the customer wanting for more. I have been using iPhone since I ever got introduced to the world of mobile media. And I have always applauded its user friendly and easily accessible features. With the 7th generation of iPhone now in market, I want to get my hands on it as soon as possible. Why?

Because Tim promised that it will be the ‘best iPhone till date!’
But doesn’t he always?

There are a number of reasons why Apple’s iPhone 7 is creating waves in the world of technology. With its release in USA, here is why you should opt for it if you have the money and resources.

No Headphone Jack

Yes, you heard it right! With no 3.5 mm jack for EarPods, Apple decided to do away with the headphone jack to introduce Bluetooth enabled wireless ‘Airpods’. Although you get the wired earpods with the handset, you will need to connect it with a dongle through the ‘Lightning port’ (the charging port). If it were my way, I might as well shell a few extra bucks ($159 – my entire month’s pocket money) and walk the trendy talk. They come in pack with a portable charger pod with a battery life of 24 hours. I would suggest go ahead with it!

Water Resistance

In a bold move to upgrade their performance standards and keep their customers happy, iPhone 7 flaunts a ‘‘splash and water resistant’’ feature (up-to 1 meter in water for 30 minutes). It also boasts that it can ward off dust particles with a swift breath. It’s a great news for iPhone lovers using Instagram, for now they don’t have to worry about getting their device damaged while clicking half-underwater-half-above-water (as they deep sea dive or swim in the coral reef).

Black! Black! Black! Black! Black!

With a beautifully sleek and slim body, an engineer might just think if it will absorb all the heat due to ‘Black Body Radiation’ (geek alert) and burst one fine day. But no, Apple engineers are smarter than that! They smoothed out the seams that used to hide the phone’s antennae, so the aluminum around the back looks smoother. But despite of its different alluring black versions, I will still miss the Space Grey color.

New Home Button

If a wave of satisfaction washed over you when you heard the imperceptible yet perceptible click of the home button, say goodbye to ‘the click’. The new iPhone button is a solid circle which doesn’t move at all. In iPhone 7, you get a haptic ‘click’ that isn’t as satisfying as the standard one. It’s like the iPhone 6s’s feature of 3D touch incorporated with the home button of iPhone 7 this time. I wish the rumors (that iPhone 8 comes with NO Home Button) are true. We can do away with the Home button for completely wireless features.

Tweaks that Pump iPhone 7 Performance

The color display of iPhone 7 has been a welcome surprise. It is 25 percent brighter and shows an improvement in clarity while capturing photos when sunlight fails you.

Apart from that, there seems to be a decent rise in the volume level of speakers. They surround both left and right sides of the iPhone, thus making your music in your playlist sound louder. I will still prefer watching a movie using earpods.

With the estimated price of Apple iPhone 7 (32GB version) at Rs.60, 000, while the iPhone 7 Plus (256GB) at Rs.92, 000, start working on your incentives if you don’t want to fall in a state of temporary cash crunch after 7th October, 2016.

If you are one cool dude, this hot stuff is for you!
