LG has accidentally disclosed specs of its OLED TVs for 2022, confirming that a 42-inch model will be released. The information came from the HDTVtest website, which claims that LG would release a 42-inch LG C2 OLED TV and an 82-inch LG G2 TV.
HDTVtest reviewer Vincent Teoh discovered the specific models of LG’s forthcoming 2022 OLED TVs via cached Google webpages and leaked model database. The information was discovered at the Korean Radio Research Agency, which is in charge of product approval in the country. The presence of the products is realistically proved by the display of the identifying code for TVs on the regulating institution’s website.

LG will replace the OLED TVs A1, B1, C1, and G1 introduced in 2021 with lines A2, B2, C2, and G2, according to information gathered by Vincent. Due to its cost-effectiveness, the OLED C2 TV series is anticipated to be the best-selling of all the company’s lines by 2022, especially now that the 42′′ size will be available.
Because of the low price and high quality, the 42-inch OLED TVs are expected to be quite popular among console and PC gamers. It’s also worth mentioning that whereas the G1 series offered versions up to 77 inches, the G2 series will have an 83-inch variant.
