iPhone 15 Series to Sport Braided and Color-matched USB-C Cables

A recent tweet by Apple leakster, suggests that the iPhone 15 could come with a much more durable braided USB-C to USB-C cable. Earlier, he mentioned that he found photos of braided charging cables online but didn’t have a source.

However, in a recent tweet, he confirmed this news. The color-matched braided Type-C charging cable will be 1.6 meters long and will feature 16 pins. The design is said to be much more durable than the existing USB-C to Lightning cable. Also, he mentioned that these cables won’t come with any MFi certification.

It is worth noting that a prominent Apple device prototype collector, Kosutami, has also confirmed to have seen samples of these rumored USB-C cables in the design validation test (DVT) stage. And, also suggested that it will come alongside the

MacRumors reported that Kosutami anticipates that these USB-C charging cables will be available in white, black, yellow, purple, and orange colors. The orange color is said to look more like the iPhone XR’s Coral color option. All the color options will match the color of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. Other than the black color option, all other shades are said to feature white glossy plastic on either end.

Further down the rumor mill, we come to know that the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will also sport the same braided color-matched USB-C to USB-C cables.
