According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurmann and other sources from 9to5Mac, the iPhone 15 event is likely to be held on September 12. It is worth noting that Gurman previously reported that the iPhone 15 event will either take place on September 12th or 13th. He further added he has been told that the iPhone 15 series will go live on sale somewhere around September 22. The renowned Apple leaker also reported that this year’s iPhone 15 event will be the usual hybrid model i.e. recorded video + people watching at the Apple campus + hands-on afterwards.
Stressing more on the September 12 launch, 9to5Mac reports that their sources have claimed that Apple’s carrier partners have asked their staff not to take a day off on Wednesday (September 13) due to a “major smartphone announcement.”

When will Apple officially announce the iPhone 15 event?
Well, there’s no exact date as of now. Every date we have mentioned here is based on rumors and past Apple event dates. Therefore, considering the event date as September 12, you can speculate that the iPhone 15 event will be officially announced anywhere between 29th August to 5th of September. That’s because Apple has a track record of making official announcements usually a week or two before the actual event date.
