Nothing Phone (1): Launch Event
Nothing is a venture started by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei who parted ways to start his own consumer technology company back in 2020. After a successful launch of their first product, the Ear (1) wireless earbuds, Nothing has announced the launch date of their first smartphone, the Phone (1). Nothing is going to launch its Phone (1) on July 12 at a live event in London. The event will begin at 11:00 AM ET (8:30 PM IST) and the live stream of this event will be available on their official website. The title of this event is “Return to Instinct” with the brand promising this smartphone as their most influential product.
Nothing Phone (1): Expected Specifications
All the specifications mentioned here are just rumors based on leaks & speculations as there is no confirmation from the company itself. Nothing Phone (1) is very likely to have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or the Snapdragon 778G. It will ship with Nothing OS, their Android-based operating system. The company claims that it will provide the best alternative ecosystem compared to Apple. Phone (1) is expected to have a 6.55-inch OLED display with HDR10+ support and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Based on rumors, the Nothing Phone (1) should come in 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant alongside an expensive 256GB variant. There’s not much info available about a variant with higher RAM. Rumors suggest we could see a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP Macro camera, and an 8MP depth camera. We hope to see a punch-hole 32MP selfie camera on the front.
The battery capacity of the Nothing Phone (1) can range from 4500mAh to 5000mAh with fast charging support. It will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and a Type-C port for charging and audio connectivity.

Nothing Phone (1): Price
The Nothing Phone (1) could be priced at $800. This is the expected price for the 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant. However, the 256GB storage variant could cost around $900.
